  48. to sell my R1 (which I dearly love) in order to  buy a dual band
  49. tranceiver.  Can't understand it, my wife just won't let me tie up more
  50. than a thousand dollars in radio equipment  :-).

  52. The R1 is virtually new.  Purchased from Grove last Christmas for $449. 
  53. It is still under manufacturers warrantee and includes a spare
  54. registration card to register the new owner.  Internal batteries have had
  55. about 6 charge cycles on them.  The unit is in perfect condition with the
  56. original box and includes the following accessories: 
  57. Standard:
  58.         Handstrap
  59.         Antenna (FA-4B)
  60.         Wall charger
  61.         Belt clip
  62. Extras included:
  63.         BP-90 battery pack w/ 6 AA replaceable Ni-Cads (retail $19 + bat cost),

  132. be nice to have more than 2mhz of the band to transmit with in this case.

  160. Hi,
  161.     I just purchased a Johnson Transcom II which I want to convert to
  162. packet.  It was a top of the line unit in its day - 30-40 watt two meter
  163. unit built very well.  It was ment to compete in the 70's with Motorola
  164. better mobile units.  
  165.     If anyone has any info on the above please let me know.  Also I
  166. used to be on a mailing list which I believe was land-mobile.  This list
  167. was for generally used by commercial service personel.  I have since had
  168. my name taken off the list and also deleted how to get on the list.  If
  169. anyone knows how to get put on the server for this list please forward 
  170. that info to me.
